Taking Flight

An abstract sculpture of a swan in flight. Made from bicycle forks and about 2 meters tall. This example exhibited in the ornamental pond at Eynsham Hall.

The body I have made from sections of mountain bike forks, the wings racing bike forks and seat stays from a bicycle frame. The pieces I've welded together and then ground the joins smooth to give a seamless appearance.
